This Payment Schedule specifies the amounts offered to members performing volunteer roles as specified. Acceptance of such payment by members is optional.

I hope you’re getting excited for Gunning on the 5th and 6th of May. Despite asking for approval in January, we’re yet to receive the ok from NSW Police. Our Secretary Phill Coulton has been managing the issue and helped Police track down the issue which should be sorted shortly.
As you may know, I am the race Director for the whole weekend. Whilst some lovely people have volunteered their time already I still need 5 people for Saturday and Sunday. It’s only a half day with lunch on Sunday in the picturesque hamlet of Gunning. Please email me at president@actvets.cc if you can assist.
Please come and helped out or alternatively come and race the challenging course. It’s an awesome weekend of racing all for the paltry price of $35.

Following the disappointment of the postponement of the 2107 Gunning 2 Day back in May, we are pleased to be able to announce that the event has been rescheduled for October.

I’m very proud to launch the new website that’s designed to be mobile friendly.
The ACT Veterans Cycling Club (or just “the vets”) has been running since 1993 and was formed to cater specifically for veteran racing cyclists in the Canberra area. Veterans are defined as 35 years old and over male cyclists and 30 and over for women. Our “most mature” members are in their 70s. The Club has around 350 members. Continue reading “Welcome”
