RACING THIS WEEK:
Saturday, 25th June – Smiths Rd – Naas Rd – Handicap
Reminder: All riders must register on the CRMCC Web site (https://rms.actvets.cc/calendar) by 24/6/2022 6:00 PM prior to the race. There is no registration at the event.
Any requests for Grade changes should be sorted out with the Handicapper prior to registration.
Where: South of Tharwa. Members to park on the side of Smiths Rd and start just around the corner on Naas Rd.
When: 1:30 pm.
Race Description:
Mt Tennent Terror
Course is over Mt Tennant spur to Apollo Road. Turn right onto Honeysuckle for 2km.

RACE REPORT:
Yass – 18th June
There were a total of 21 riders who enjoyed beautiful weather, gourmet cupcakes and a road race in Yass on Saturday afternoon. Due to a lack of entrants in A (2) and B (1) grades, the grades were combined for 2 laps of the Cooks Hill Drive course. Winner was B grader Conan Liu from David Parker 2nd and Heath Wade 3rd. Conan claimed it was a “Bradbury” moment, maybe hoping to escape the notice of the handicapper. Where was the rest of A and B grade??
C grade had 5 entrants with Brian Peak taking a narrow win over Bruce McMillan, with Ed Logue 3rd.
D grade had the most entrants, with 7 riders. Tony Beasley taking a photo-finish win over Mark Taylor with Steve Simms a close 3rd.
E grade had 4 riders. Russell Marston 1st, with Alex Sommariva 2nd and Alison Hale 3rd.
Only 2 riders for F grade, with Liz Lowe taking the win over Kat Riley.
Highlight of the day were the gourmet cupcakes and Anzac biscuits baked and supplied by Kat Riley!
