2024-25 criterium season

Can you believe it? The season opener starts on Tuesday 8 October 2024 and the committee is pleased to announce that the season’s $160 criterium pass will be live as of this Wednesday 18 Sept. The pass will cover 24 SFP crit races concluding on Tuesday 1 April 2025, contingent upon your renewal as a fully paid financial member from 1 Jan 2025 (once we know the amount set by the national committee).
You will need to participate in 16 crits to break even. There are 11 SFP crits in the 2024 calendar year. The season crit pass covers the Christmas wheel race, and also the Club Criterium championships on Tuesday 18 February 2025.
By default, you will be entered into all of the races as a subscriber to the pass. If you are not expecting that you will be a fully paid financial racing member in 2025, or if you have yet to volunteer to help out at race (and may be facing membership suspension by the committee), we do not advise that you purchase the criterium pass as you may not get the best value for money. We will not be refunding criterium passes at any point throughout the season (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
We would like to thank in particular Ben Healy for the many hours he has spent developing the software code to enable this innovative development for our racing membership.  The committee members have reached consensus to return value to our racing membership.

2024-25 track season

We are still formulating our track program for this season and we will be offering our annual pass again shortly, noting that for track we have moved to a fully online payment and registration system which is the only way to verify a rider’s financial status and insurance coverage. For the first time, we rolled out our novice track program this winter which was sporadically attended.
