Apollo Road graded scratch race
A reminder that our next road race for 2026 is on the Apollo Road course this Saturday 18 April 2026. We confirm that this race will proceed regardless of the number of entrants. Let’s Race!
The graded scratch race will start with A grade at 1:30PM and the other grades to follow.
Race start is at Apollo Road T junction with Naas Road. Finish is at Honeysuckle Creek campground. Riders who come by car should park at the campground then ride down to the start.
All grades U turn before the aero model club near Tharwa and return for a summit finish.
Riders are to be mindful of other campground users when parking and using the facilities so that ACT Parks continue to allow our use of this venue. Please ensure no rubbish is left in the car park or any flora damaged when parking.
Extra clothing worn for the ride down to the start will be collected and brought to the finish.

Directions: Travel to Tharwa and follow Naas Rd south. Go past Namadgi visitors centre, over Tennent hill, and turn Right onto Apollo road. Park on top of the hill at the camping area, then ride back down to the T junction for the start.
The current forecast for Saturday is Sunny, 19 degrees with light winds.
Race your mates and have a chat over tea/coffee and cake/biscuits afterwards. Life doesn’t get much better!
You must wear your CRMCC assigned number to race.
