This race will be going ahead on Saturday 15 August 2026 at 1:30pm.
The course is a straight out-and-back along Mountain Creek Road. 10km out and 10km back, making each lap 20km. The start is a short distance from the intersection of Fairlight Road and Mountain Creek Road. The terrain is challenging rolling hills. Please be careful on descents. Shadows can mask potholes. The course also includes a cattle grid. Enjoy the beautiful countryside and be careful!
We propose A , B and C do 3 laps (60km), and D, E & F do 2 laps (40km). Please discuss with the Race Director on the day or before if these distances worry you. If consensus is reached between riders to race a different distance to the proposed above, we can look to accommodate this. Note, minimum race distance is 2 laps & maximum is 3 laps.
Please note, the closest bathroom facilities are located at Uriarra Crossing before turning onto Fairlight Road. This is some distance from the race start point, so be prepared. We can look to get Portaloo facilities in future if feedback demands it for these types of races.
