Calling for Volunteers
Firstly, thank you for supporting our 2026 winter road racing season. Our club relies on riders helping riders, and we need a few volunteers to help keep the races running safely and smoothly throughout the rest of the season.
For the remainder of the winter season, we are looking for:
- Race Directors
- Finish Line Marshals
- Traffic Controllers (ETC-certified)
- Van Drivers
Without volunteers filling these roles, we risk not being able to run races, so we’re asking everyone to consider giving back to the club for a day. The more people who share the load, the easier it is for everyone to enjoy a full race season.
If you can help this weekend or volunteer for any race during the season, please reply to the committee mailbox (copied) or go to the volunteer calendar at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pkECTVAgOENts06YdwLNOaAI44JwQend/edit?pli=1&gid=1832900212#gid=1832900212
Thanks for helping keep our winter racing community strong and hope to see you out there soon.
Club Kit Order
Thanks to Jimmy from MVMNT for organising our Club kit order. Please use the link below to place an order directly with MVMNT. We will keep this kit portal open until Sunday 12 July. If you have any questions, please email us at the Committee.

Next Race – Sutton Driver Training Centre

****We still require a Race Director for this event. If you can help out, please email committee@crmcc.org.au****
Sunday 5 July 2026. We apologise for the late change on the RMS. Our originally planned date of Saturday 4 July was not available, and we been booked in for Sunday 5 July.
This race will be going ahead regardless of the number of participants.
Six races will be held over the winter season at the Sutton Driver Training Centre, with riders accumulating the points gained as per the list:
1st 10 points
2nd 8 points
3rd 6 points
4th 4 points
5th 3 points
6th+ 2 points
This scoring system differs from the RMS. 10 points will still be awarded to the winner even if only one rider starts the race.
Riders with the most points accumulated at the end of the series will be crowned grand champions for their grade.
Here are the main rules:
- The final round will be worth double points and riders that participate in all races will get a bonus 12 points.
- Prizes such as gift vouchers (subject to local business generosity) will be presented after the final race for first, second and third places.
- Riders must compete in the final race to receive a prize and be present at the prize ceremony.
- Riders who are promoted will take half their points with them to the higher grade.
- Point scores will be kept for each grade and updated after each round.
- If more than one rider finishes with the same final score, a count-back of the overall results will determine the higher place getter.
- The races may not all be scratch races, with a points race as another option.
- Volunteers will get 2 points in the series and still be eligible for the bonus 12 points for participating in all races in the series.
Riders intending to compete in the series should make themselves familiar with all the rules. Please note, dates and times are subject to change.
Upcoming races needing volunteers
Please self-register as a volunteer, where you can put your name down against those roles marked ‘Vacant’ in this Google spreadsheet. We will follow-up and confirm your volunteering with an email from committee@crmcc.org.au
Thank you to those members who have offered their services to fill roles so our races can run. https://rms.crmcc.org.au/calendar
