You must wear your CRMCC assigned race number to race.
Late registrations will be assessed by committee@crmcc.org.au and if allowed, a late fee of $10 will be applied.
If you are unregistered and show up to the crit track, you must convince a committee member (not the Race Director) of your club member financial status for insurance purposes, before being allowed to participate.
All riders are required to sign on before their race start.
We will be running an entry chute, where riders are called 1 by 1 onto the circuit in numerical order of sign-on.

Race Report – SFP Crits 24 March 2026
B-Grade kicked off the evening in frantic style with a breakaway from the first lap; the bunch
soon reeled in the breakaway, and the pace settled to a less frantic style. This did not last
with several breakaways, all of which were eventually reeled in. In the end, Lewis Cressy
just piped Andrew Murrell at the line to take the win with Wayne Spratford a close third.
D-Grade was next to go out at a more leisurely pace. The bunch gradually elongated as the
race progressed, with a sharp sprint to the finish and Steve Simms just holding out Russel
Marston for first, and Peta Brill coming in third.
E-Grade followed D-grade out, and the bunch soon separated into 2 groups. The leading
group also started to stretch out as the race progressed, with Jonan Chowns home
comfortably in first place and Phillip Martin just holding out a fast-finishing Ian Morton to take
second place.
A-Grade riders set off into the fading light, and the pace was not as frantic as for B-grade.
The light lasted long enough for the full allocated time. The group stayed together tightly,
with Ben Morrison taking the win from Jeremy Gillman-Wells and Matthew Corsby finishing
third.
C-Grade also set off into the fading light, but again, the light lasted long enough for C-Grade
to get its full time allocation. There were 2 visitors in C-Grade, and both managed to acquit
themselves well. Again, the bunch slowly elongated as the race progressed, with several
short-lived attacks. In a close battle, Mark Cantrill took the win with Dominic Romano by half
a wheel and Mark Vardy third.
I was ably assisted by Craig O’Neil as Marshall and Matt Sainsbery as First Aid Officer.
Craig and matt thank you for your assistance.
Chris Copeland – Race Director.

Lookout Hill Time Trial Report 29 March 2026
16 individuals gathered at Lookout Hill for an ITT that started in ideal still, sunny conditions on the challenging but fast 20km graded ITT consisting of two laps of the fast Lookout – Tharwa – Point Hut course. It’s a great course with riders having to work out how deep they want dig on Lookout Hill without gong into too much debt! A couple of kangaroos were patrolling the sides of the road before race start and fortunately that’s where they stayed. The wind picked up a little as the race progressed.
The A grade riders were looking very fast and were off first at 60 second intervals. With all riders on the course it was clear that there were going to be some fast times, not even the short sharp rise to Lookout Hill slowed some of the riders. There were as many impressive rides as there were slippery TT rigs on the course. Turbo Murfett, clocked the fastest time of the day in 28min16sec with an average speed of 43km/h, just a few seconds shy of Steve Crispins strava best for the course! Jason Irwin also put in a fast performance in A grade for second. Tristan Fuge led B Grade with 31mins 26 seconds, closely flollowed by Craig Lindenmayer who took second place. In C grade Kim Pederson put in an impressive ride to take line honours in 33min3seconds with Darren Blackhurst a close second. Katie Gregory took out D grade in a fast 35min51. Rae Rogers clocked the fastest time in E grade in 40min35seconds and Chris Copeland rode well to take out F grade.
Thank you to Ed Logue and Elizabeth for their ETC work on the turns, Chris Murphy for marshalling, Matt Sainsbery on First Aid Duties and Rowan McMurray for driving the race van and assisting with setup. Thanks to Ryan and Harry Fawke for their help with setup and rider safety.
